Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.

The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. Banking was conceived in iniquity and born in sin. Bankers own the Earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money and with the flick of a pen they will create enough money to buy it back again. Take this great power away from them and all great fortunes like mine will disappear, and they ought to disappear for then this would be a better and happier world to live in. However, if you want to continue to be slaves of the banks and pay the cost of your own slavery, let bankers continue to create money and control credit.

Al Qaeda Terrorist Wanted by FBI Crossed Back and Forth Into U.S. From Mexico

An Al Qaeda terrorist on the FBI’s most wanted list for years crossed back and forth into the United States from Mexico to meet fellow militant Islamists in Texas and piloted an aircraft into the Cielo Dorado airfield in Anthony, New Mexico, law enforcement sources tell Judicial Watch.

The same Al Qaeda operative helped plan the 2009 bombing of talk-show superstar Oprah Winfrey’s Chicago studios and the iconic Sears Tower (renamed Willis Tower), a story that Judicial Watch broke just last week. His name is Adnan G. El Shukrijumah (also known as “Javier Robles”) and over the weekend he was killed in Pakistan, according to military officials in the Islamic republic.

In 2010 Shukrijumah was indicted in the Eastern District of New York for his role in a terrorist plot to attack targets in the United States—including New York City’s subway system—and the United Kingdom, according the FBI. The plot against New York City’s subway system was directed by senior Al Qaeda leadership in Pakistan, the FBI says, and was also directly related to a scheme by Al Qaeda plotters in Pakistan to use Western operatives to attack a target in the United States.

A year earlier Shukrijumah helped plan a terrorist truck-bomb plot targeting Winfrey’s Harpo Studios and the Sears Tower. Two of his fellow conspirators—Emad Karakrah and Hector Pedroza Huerta—were recently arrested for unrelated state crimes in different parts of the country. Karakrah is in Cook County, Illinois Jail on charges of making a false car bomb threat after leading police on a high-speed chase through Chicago with an ISIS flag waving from his car in August. Huerta, an illegal alien twice convicted for driving intoxicated, is in the El Paso County Jail and is scheduled to be sentenced later this month. [read more]

If this Jihadist can slip back and forth across the border so easily then so can other terrorists. He could have just as well committed terroristic acts (like planting a bomb) when he was over in America. Good news is he has been killed before he could cause any mayhem.

All I can say is secure the border! The US can start by enforcing the laws it already has on the books.

Government tells Americans to stop eating cookie dough

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued an order that millions of Americans will likely find impossible to carry out: stop eating raw cookie dough.

“Avoid raw or partially cooked eggs or foods containing raw eggs, such as cookie dough,” USDA advised in an email over the weekend.

Carrying out that simple 15-word recommendation would radically change millions of lives, from families who routinely bake cookies and invite the kids to scoop batter out of the bowl, to people who scarf down pre-packaged cookie dough, to everyone who eats cookie dough found in ice cream.

Simply put, it’s not immediately clear that America is ready to take on USDA’s mission. But it’s also unclear if it’s necessary — there is something of a debate over whether it’s safe to eat cookie dough, or whether the risk of getting salmonella from raw eggs is too high. [read more]

And while you’re at it stopping eating raw hamburger meat. Understand? And be sure you look both ways before crossing the street. And for God’s sake don’t run with knives! Finally, don’t talk with your mouth full of food.

This stupid PSA is like when they had instructions on TV a while back on how to use a microwave oven. I couldn’t believe it. How long has the personal microwave oven been around? Since the 1960’s? And now the gov’t decides do a info ad about how to properly use a microwave oven?

7) When illegal immigrants are granted equal if not greater ”rights” and benefits than law abiding citizens

8) When instead of targeting the jihadists responsible for committing the murders of thousands of innocents, the government targets the counter-jihadists

9) When the leaders of your Republic defend to the death those who wish to destroy her, while deriding those who wish to save her

10) When countries like Egypt and the United Arab Emirates designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, but yours does not [read more]

IBM's Watson Wants to Examine Your DNA

How much exercise should I get today? How much coffee can I drink on Monday? These are questions you might ask yourself, not really expecting an actual response, but if IBM has its way, its Watson supercomputer will soon be able to supply the answers.

IBM's Watson Group today announced an undisclosed investment in Pathway Genomics to create the first cognitive consumer app based on a user's genetic makeup.

Citing research on genomic medicine, IBM said the bioinformatics market is expected to grow to $12.86 billion by 2020. Few consumers, however, have access to or can benefit from personalized wellness-related recommendations tailored to their individual needs. Which is where IBM and Pathway Genomics come in.

By leveraging the natural language processing and cognitive capabilities of Watson, consumers will be able to "Ask Watson" for insights, based on their own genes, wearable data, and other wellness information, like emotional, physical, and social well being. [read more]

I am surprised Google hasn’t done this already. Don’t we—ie America—have this already? Her name is Michelle Obama—well, at least for the wellness information anyway.

You really want to ask a computer for insights about emotional and social well being? I can see it now. Some girl or woman will be using this app and it tells her the guy she is dating isn’t good for her. So much for getting advice from her girlfriends.

What if Google (or other competitors) makes their own app and you have this app. You might have two “advisors” with conflicting advice.

Chinese hack U.S. weather systems, satellite network

Hackers from China breached the federal weather network recently, forcing cybersecurity teams to seal off data vital to disaster planning, aviation, shipping and scores of other crucial uses, officials said.

The intrusion occurred in late September but officials gave no indication that they had a problem until Oct. 20, according to three people familiar with the hack and the subsequent reaction by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA, which includes the National Weather Service. Even then, NOAA did not say its systems were compromised.

Officials also said that the agency did not notify the proper authorities when it learned of the attack. [read more]

Even if the Chinese gov’t didn’t do the hack, they probably didn’t discourage it. As long as the hackers are not hacking China the gov’t don’t care. Heck, they probably even encourage it. The Chinese gov’t is not America’s friend. Then have Obama over there chewing gum and looking bored. He’s probably thinking to himself “I rather be golfing.”

Control is the key word here. The Left think people are basically stupid and can’t be trusted to run their own lives so they have to be managed by “smarter” people—the elites.

The economic elite can only control all the wealth if they are the gov’t or have connections to the gov’t aka cronyism.

• I am against dwarf bowling. I think this sport could be harmful to dwarfs especially when they run into the bowling pins.
• The free-market system is like voting. Every time you buy a product or use a business’ service you are basically expressing your interest for one product or service over another. It is about choice. So, if you are against the free-market you are against the right to vote.
• A basketball team cannot win a game if everyone passes the ball. Some player has to be selfish and risk a shot. Even in team sports individual talents is important. There is no such thing as a collective.
• Humor: There is a secret group called the Free Accordionists. They are like the Free Masons but haven’t been around that long.
• The free-market system uses a breadth first search algorithm to solve problems.
• If a person has a potentially fatal contagious disease (like Ebola) it is his/her responsibility not to go out in public and infect everyone. This includes buses, taxis, and especially airplanes.
• The formula for power corrupting: Arrogance + power = control freak.
• The scientific triad: The scientific method, curiosity, fair-mindedness.
• Executive orders should be limited to six per term.
• The problem with socialism is everyone wants to share the benefits but no-one wants to share the costs.

Assertive Beliefs

Other people cannot be trusted to do as they are told.Much of what we do, say or feel is based on our beliefs. Problems occur when we hold contradictory beliefs about ourselves and about other people. If you have assertive beliefs then assertive behavior will follow.

Beliefs that drive assertive behavior include:

• I am equal to others with the same fundamental rights.
• I am free to think, choose and make decisions for myself.
• I am able to try things, make mistakes, learn and improve.
• I am responsible for my own actions and my responses to other people.
• I do not need permission to take action.
• It is okay to disagree with others. Agreement is not always necessary or possible.

Hmmm. Sounds like conservative beliefs to me. If gov’t would encourage these beliefs the country would be better off.

The IRS Closed This Grandmother’s Bank Account and Seized Nearly $33,000 From Her

The IRS closed her bank account and seized nearly $33,000 of her money — but wait until you hear what her “crime” was.

Grandmother and small business owner Carole Hinders said the seizure happened one day in May 2013, and it took her completely by surprise because the money seized was the fruit of her honest labor.

“How can I be committing a crime by depositing money that I worked for, and deposited in my own bank account?” Hinders asked. “In 30 years of banking with the same bank, no one ever mentioned that I was making my deposits wrong.”

It all relates to what the IRS calls “structuring,” when someone makes withdrawals or deposits strategically under the amount of $10,000 to avoid having their bank file a currency transaction report with the Feds.

But in cases like Hinders’, small business owners aren’t “structuring” to avoid paperwork or get away with illicit uses of money — they just make frequent deposits under $10,000 because their businesses aren’t bringing in more money. [read more]

This is a good reason why the tax law should really be examined. And if a rule is confusing or unfair—eliminate it! There are so many rules who knows if you violated one or not. It’s ridiculous. As Chief Justice John Marshall once said: The power to tax is the power to destroy. Just ask any conservative group. You want to talk about a war, this is a war on the small business elderly person. Or small business woman.

One last thing to think about. Under tax law, the taxpayer is assumed guilty unless proven innocent. And the taxpayer is the one who has to prove his/her innocent. That’s why people need tax lawyers and tax accountants.

Weather Channel Founder Says Climate Change Is a Myth

Many officials in the Obama administration - including Secretary of State John Kerry and President Obama himself - have repeatedly hammered home the message that climate change is one of mankind's greatest threats.

According to Weather Channel co-founder John Coleman, however, there is no scientific proof that supports man-made climate change.

Coleman joined Megyn Kelly on The Kelly File tonight to discuss the "myth" of the alleged climate crisis.

"It's very difficult for anybody to be against it because the media has told the nation day after day for 20 years that the oceans are rising, the polar bears are dying, the ice is melting, that storms are going to sweep the Earth and we're all going to die of a heat wave," Coleman said.

He added that he's not alone in doubting the science behind man-made climate change: 9,000 experts with PhD's and 31 scientists have signed a petition stating that carbon dioxide is not a significant greenhouse gas and that much of the research behind climate change is "bad, bad science." It’s not just bad, bad science it is pseudoscience. Al Gore and other climate change zealots would call this guy and the other 31 scientists--heretics.

Answer me this: If meteorologists can only predict weather a few days in advance then how can climatologists (meteorologists who get gov’t grants) predict climate change many years off? I mean that’s almost in fortune teller territory. Except using crystal balls the climatologists are using inaccurate computer models. I have nothing against computer models—meteorologists use them all the time—but if they are not calibrated right you will always get garbage coming out.

Just like Obamacare, climate change is just another way of controlling people’s lives—read: their liberty. 

North Korea Now Has Nuclear Warheads for Missiles

North Korea now has the ability to produce a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can be mounted atop a ballistic missile.

That is the assessment of Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti, the senior U.S. commander on the Korean Peninsula, as he talked to reporters Friday. Scaparrotti also concluded that Pyongyang has a functioning long-range mobile missile launcher.

Although North Korea has conducted three nuclear explosion tests and several medium-and long-range missile test firings, it had not been known whether the regime had developed a nuclear warhead sufficiently small to fit on top of a missile with the range to reach the continental United States.

“Personally I think that they certainly have had the expertise in the past. They’ve had the right connections [with Iran and Pakistan],” commented Scaparrotti, “and so I believe have the capability to have miniaturized a [nuclear] device at this point, and they have the technology to potentially actually deliver what they say they have [and] I think they have a launcher that will carry it at this point.” [read more]

The “Independent” Candidate

There is an independent party candidate running in my state of Kansas for the Senate name of Greg Orman. He says he is independent of both of the main parties but is he really? He gave money to Harry Reid and President Obama. He was formally a democrat. Just saying you’re independent doesn’t mean you are. It’s like saying you’re for hope and change.

Another reason I distrust the “independent” label is because most senators with that label are actually liberal or progressive. The American Conservative Union rates congress in how conservative a congress person is. Take a look at these so-called independent senators and their lifetime scores for 2013:

Angus King (Maine): 13

Bernie Sanders (Vermont): 6.3

Joseph Lieberman (Connecticut): 15.3

To be fair, Bernie Sanders states that he is a socialist. I like his honesty. Don’t like his politics. The rating for Joseph Lieberman was for 2012 since he retired in January of 2013. If you remember he was initially a democrat but changed to independent because the party bosses attacked him politically.

The reader might say three senators is too small a sample to draw any conclusion. Possibly, but you would think if they were truly independent their scores would be closer to 50%. Not way below 50%.  No matter what your party is you still have to vote your world-view or ideology. My advice is if you really don’t want to vote for the two main parties, don’t vote for an independent. Vote for a true third party like the libertarian party. I am not sure why the Kansas libertarian senate candidate isn’t running ads on TV saying he is the true independent candidate for the senate. Maybe, he doesn’t have enough money.

One other thing. I could not find any independent representatives for some reason.

President Obama Names Ron Klain 'Ebola Czar'

Amid mounting pressure to name someone to spearhead the administration's response to the Ebola crisis, President Obama announced today that he plans to appoint Ron Klain, Vice President Joe Biden's former chief-of staff, as his Ebola czar, ABC News has confirmed.

Klain, who also served as Chief of Staff for Vice President Al Gore, now works as general counsel at Revolution LLC.

The White House had previously already assigned Homeland Security Advisor Lisa Monaco, a lawyer with a background in federal law enforcement, criminal prosecution and crisis response, to work with the CDC and other government agencies responsible for addressing an outbreak on American soil. If you read the five things to know about Klain you will find no medical accreditations of any kind. All he did was work for big shot Dems. And he was a law clerk too. So, why was this guy picked at all? In a word: Politics. That’s my guess anyway. This appointment smacks of cronyism.

Obama didn’t even include the new czar in his gov’t Ebola response meeting for some reason. I guess the new czar had more important plans.

America needs another czar like we need another contagious person on a plane or a contagious person walking across our porous border. But isn’t the HHS Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response,  Dr. Nicole Lurie, kind of like a czar anyway? Plus she has a medical degree. According to the HHS website her mission is: “to lead the nation in preventing, responding to and recovering from the adverse health effects of public health emergencies.” Hmmm. I don’t know, but sounds like what an Ebola czar would do anyway. More stupid bureaucratic duplications.

Chemical Weapons Were Found in Iraq — But the Public Never Knew Until Now

Five years after President George W. Bush sent troops into Iraq, these soldiers had entered an expansive but largely secret chapter of America’s long and bitter involvement in Iraq.

From 2004 to 2011, American and American-trained Iraqi troops repeatedly encountered, and on at least six occasions were wounded by, chemical weapons remaining from years earlier in Saddam Hussein’s rule.

In all, American troops secretly reported finding roughly 5,000 chemical warheads, shells or aviation bombs, according to interviews with dozens of participants, Iraqi and American officials, and heavily redacted intelligence documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.

The United States had gone to war declaring it must destroy an active weapons of mass destruction program. Instead, American troops gradually found and ultimately suffered from the remnants of long-abandoned programs, built in close collaboration with the West.

The New York Times found 17 American service members and seven Iraqi police officers who were exposed to nerve or mustard agents after 2003. American officials said that the actual tally of exposed troops was slightly higher, but that the government’s official count was classified. [read more]

The Government Doesn’t Need to Charge You With a Crime to Seize Your Assets and Property

Did you know you don’t actually need to be charged with a crime for the government to seize your financial and property assets?

Under U.S. law, it can take only the suspicion of a crime to turn lives upside down and seize the property of innocent citizens.

The civil asset forfeiture law allows government agencies like the IRS or the Department of Justice to confiscate anyone’s property without obtaining criminal charges against them.

Originally intended to seize the assets of money launderers and drug dealers, the law’s low requirement threshold has allowed government agencies to incorrectly identify someone as a possible suspect in a crime take their assets. It can take more than a year for an innocent person who has had their business, property or finances seized to be cleared of wrongdoing, during which time they can lose everything, said Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.), who is working to reform the law.  [read more]

Yea, that is kind of unnerving. Almost unlimited power for the gov’t. I hope the representative gets his bill passed through Congress. The question is will Obama sign the bill into law?

Scientists Have Invented a Real-Life Cloaking Device

Cloaking devices: they’re not just for Harry Potter or Romulan warships anymore.

Researchers at the University of Rochester are publicizing their construction of an invisibility-inducing array, and the simple technology involved might surprise you.

As Reuters reported:

“From what we know this is the first cloaking device that provides three-dimensional, continuously multidirectional cloaking,” said Joseph Choi, a graduate student who helped develop the method at Rochester, which is renowned for its optical research.

In their tests, the researchers have cloaked a hand, a face, and a ruler – making each object appear “invisible” while the image behind the hidden object remains in view. The implications for the discovery are endless, they say.

“I imagine this could be used to cloak a trailer on the back of a semi-truck so the driver can see directly behind him,” Choi said. “It can be used for surgery, in the military, in interior design, art.”

Howell said the Rochester Cloak, like the fictitious cloak described in the pages of the Harry Potter series, causes no distortion of the background object.

Building the device does not break the bank either. It cost Howell and Choi a little over $1,000 in materials to create it and they believe it can be done even cheaper.

Of course, the practical applications might attract professional attention, but the basic thrill of disappearing is what appeals to the average Joe.   [read more]

Bill O’Reilly’s Mercenary Army

However, the American people, perhaps rightly so, do not want to send any more of our troops into these chaotic countries.

But what about a mercenary army?

Elite fighters who would be well paid and well trained to defeat terrorists all over the world.

Here's how it would work:

The fighters would be recruited by the U.S.A. and trained in America by our special forces.  U.S. Army rules of engagement would be followed -- strict discipline formed by the Geneva Convention.

America would be in charge of selecting who makes the cut and how they are deployed, with an eye on a 25,000-person force.

American and NATO officers would lead the mercenary army, and the U.S.A. would also provide logistical support, basing the first-trained soldiers in Kurdistan.

The force would be called "the anti-terror army," and the cost paid by the coalition that President Obama is trying to put together.

That means all countries that want intelligence and protection from the U.S.A. and NATO would have to chip in.

If you don't pay, you get no help.

Not a bad idea. Sort of like an international Impossible Mission force. I think there was a video game done on this idea. It was also a book by the late Tom Clancy. I hope the rules of engagement of this international task force allow shooting at terrorists who shoot at you inside of Mosques. I mean if the terrorists don’t care about their own Mosques why should the soldiers?

It’s good that the people over in Iraq and Syria are breaking things but I want to see more dead terrorists.

Meet Khorasan, the Terrorist Group That Might Be Scarier Than ISIS

As the Islamic State terrorist organization commands attention with its cold-blooded tactics of rape and murder, another group of violent extremists in Syria considers itself tougher — and actually may have more ambition to attack the United States.

The group, known as Khorasan, was acknowledged and named publicly for the first time Thursday by National Intelligence Director James Clapper.

Clapper confirmed that Khorasan may pose as great a threat to the U.S. as the Islamic State, also called ISIS or ISIL. “There is potentially yet another threat to the homeland, yes,” he said at an intelligence conference in Washington.

Phillips: The Khorasan group is a cell of veteran terrorists belonging to the al-Qaeda core group — the high command of the al-Qaeda network that relocated to Pakistan after the 2001 defeat of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

Osama bin Laden’s successor, Ayman al-Zawahiri, reportedly dispatched the Khorasan group to Syria to link up with al-Qaeda’s official franchise in Syria, Jabhat al-Nusra — which means “the Victory Front.”
