Elon Musk: I Got A COVID Test Four Times In One Day. ‘Two Came Back Negative, Two Came Back Positive.’

From Daily Wire.com (Nov. 13):

Elon Musk suspects something strange is brewing with the current spate of COVID tests. According to the eccentric billionaire, he took a test four times in one day and got two different results.

“Something extremely bogus is going on. Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD,” Musk tweeted on Thursday.

Regarding whether false positives could be contributing to the major spike in cases, Musk said, “If it’s happening to me, it’s happening to others. I’m getting PCR tests from separate labs. Results will take about 24 hours.”

When asked if he was feeling any symptoms, the Tesla founder said they were minor, like that of a common cold and not much else. Dr. Eugene Gu tried to offer up his own explanation.

“It matters what order you received those results. If you had the first two tests come back negative earlier in the day and then the last two tests come back positive later in the day, then it could mean you passed the threshold for detecting the coronavirus as they replicated,” Gu tweeted. Scary new malware can survive even if you erase and reinstall Windows

From Komando.com (Oct. 7):

Cyberattacks these days are nothing to scoff at. In 2020 alone, we saw a huge spike in cybercrime — and with more businesses moving operations online, threats like ransomware and phishing will only get worse.

Thankfully, PC users have powerful tools to protect ourselves. Some of the best anti-malware programs you can get are totally free to use.

Most security software can handle viruses and Trojans no problem. But researchers have found a new kind of Trojan that keeps reappearing no matter how many times you delete it. It’s so strong, in fact, that not even a full system reset can get rid of it.

Superbug or cyber weapon?

Tough malware calls for tough solutions — and one of the harshest things a person can do with an infected computer is to completely erase it. This means backing up files, reinstalling the operating system and starting over from scratch. It’s a time-consuming process, but it’s sometimes the only way to deal with certain viruses.

But a full reset may not be enough to stop a new strain of malware coming from China. Kaspersky Labs has detected a virus that attaches itself to Windows 10’s startup system. This makes it immune to full system wipes since the malware can’t be found on the hard drive like a normal file.

Instead, the newly discovered malware hides on a computer’s motherboard — which can’t be accessed by the operating system. It also creates a Trojan file called IntelUpdate.exe that reinstalls the malware if you try to remove it.

Once it’s on your system, it spies on your activity, scans for documents and sends them to an unknown host. Worst of all, it’s spread just like thousands of other viruses: through malicious email attachments.

Kaspersky concluded that state-sponsored hackers backed by China or North Korea are behind the malware. They found traces of the Chinese language in the program’s code, but all of the malware’s targets appeared to be enemies of the North Korean government.

In other words, this might not even be a run-of-the-mill virus but a state-sponsored cyberweapon. [read more]

DHS Omits ‘Antifa’ from Latest Domestic Threat Assessment

From Breitbart.com (Oct. 7):

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) does not include Antifa in its latest assessment of domestic threats to the homeland.

The 26-page Homeland Threat Assessment (HTA), dated October 2020, does describe the problem of violent protests, though it emphasizes the threat posed by white supremacist groups and omits the word “Antifa.”

As Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf notes in a foreword (original emphasis):

Domestic violent extremism is a threat to the Homeland. As Americans, we all have the right to believe whatever we want, but we don’t have a right to carry out acts of violence to further those beliefs. The Department works with other Government, non-Government, and private sector partners to prevent individuals from making this transition from protected speech to domestic terrorism reflected by violence. As Secretary, I am concerned about any form of violent extremism. That is why we design our programs to be threat agnostic – ensuring that we can combat a broad range of domestic threats. However, I am particularly concerned about white supremacist violent extremists who have been exceptionally lethal in their abhorrent, targeted attacks in recent years. I am proud of our work to prevent terrorizing tactics by domestic terrorists and violent extremists who seek to force ideological change in the United States through violence, death, and destruction.

Ilhan Omar Funnels 70 Percent of Campaign Expenditures to Husband’s Company

From Free Beacon.com (Oct. 15):

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) funneled an additional $1.1 million to her husband's company, bringing her total payments to the firm to $2.7 million for the election cycle, new filings show.

Omar's campaign filings, released Thursday, show that she sent $1.1 million more to the E Street Group, a political consulting firm owned by her husband, Tim Mynett. The payments account for nearly 70 percent of the $1.6 million Omar's campaign has disbursed between July 23 and the end of September. They have helped cover advertisements, consulting, travel expenses, and production costs.

Omar has faced criticism on a number of issues since she entered Congress in 2018. Among other things, her lack of transparency about her past marriages has come under fire, and the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board has ordered her to repay thousands for a campaign finance violation.

She now faces a complaint for potentially running afoul of House ethics rules in relation to an advance she received for her memoir.

The freshman "Squad" member has showered her husband's company with cash this cycle. The E Street Group is the highest paid vendor from the campaign, and Omar had already sent $1.6 million to the group. [read more]

10 Bible Verses on the Value of Self-Care and Self-Love

Commentary from Kirstyn Mayden on I Believe.com:

As we serve others in ministry, at home, or in the workplace, self-care is an often neglected area. We “know” that we should take better care of ourselves, but there is a myriad of reasons why we are not consistent in doing so. Lack of time, energy, or motivation are a few reasons why we do not fully invest in strengthening and caring for ourselves. While we continue to give and pour into others, it is essential that we do not give from an empty cup. When we invest in strengthening our body, mind, and spirit, we will live fuller, balanced, and more joyful lives. Most importantly, we can better serve those we are called to serve.

God is not anti-self love. The Bible tells us to "love your neighbor as yourself." If you struggling with self-love, you will struggle with having the time and energy to love others well.

Practicing self-care and self-love involves a recognition that we need God to lead, sustain and guide us each step of the way. As we are more intentional about surrendering our anxieties and burdens to God, we can experience greater peace and rest.

1. Prioritize Quality Time with God

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” (Mark 1:35)

A big part of maintaining healthy self-care is pausing and committing time to having focused prayer. Jesus was intentional about prioritizing spending time with God, His Father. Before the demands and responsibilities of each day begin, I am filled with God’s word in my morning devotion time. The morning is often my only chance to spend uninterrupted time with God to gain clarity, wisdom, and give thanks. In this brief quiet time, my mind is renewed, refreshed, and strengthened for the day.

2. Care for Yourself as You’d Care for a Friend

“The second is this: Love your neighbor, as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:31)

As we are attentive and caring for those we are entrusted to serve, our personal, mental, and spiritual health should be given the same delicate care. When we abandon caring for our personal needs, we can remain exhausted, overwhelmed, and depleted. There are seasons where I have served from a feeling of obligation or routine because I was not being ministered to. Sound familiar? [read more]

  3. Surrender to God’s Sweet Rest

  6. Renew Your Mind and Release Burdens
  7. Rely on God to Fill You with Strength

Under the Cover of a Chaotic Election, Trump Just Fulfilled One of His Biggest Promises to the American People

From Western Journal.com (Nov. 4):

While Americans sifted through reports of election fraud and disappearing leads, President Donald Trump quietly fulfilled a promise made to the people of the United States.

The move came Wednesday morning as America officially left the Paris climate accords.

According to The Associated Press, the departure began last year and was only finally formalized this week. Trump had promised in 2017 that he would abandon the Paris Agreement and save America jobs from “job-killing regulations.”

Other countries party to the agreement were quick to condemn Trump’s decision.

…………..

The “science” appears to show that America can protect its own environment without the need for restrictions imposed by the rest of the world.

After Trump set in motion America’s departure from the restrictive agreement, reduction of U.S. pollution shattered predictions, with greenhouse gas emissions sinking despite the dismissal of the protocols. [read more]

Morocco, Israel normalize ties as US recognizes Western Sahara

From J Post.com (Dec. 11):

Israel and Morocco have agreed to establish diplomatic relations, US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday.

Morocco became the fourth Arab country to normalize ties with Israel in four months, following the Abraham Accords with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan.

“Another historic breakthrough today!” Trump tweeted. “Our two great friends Israel and the Kingdom of Morocco have agreed to full diplomatic relations – a massive breakthrough for peace in the Middle East!”

Israel and Morocco plan to reopen economic liaison offices, which were closed in 2002, and work quickly to exchange ambassadors and begin direct flights, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

In addition, Trump announced that he signed a proclamation recognizing Moroccan sovereignty over the Western Sahara, a disputed territory. “Morocco’s serious, credible, and realistic autonomy proposal is the ONLY basis for a just and lasting solution for enduring peace and prosperity!” he tweeted. Senate investigators: New records 'confirm' troubling Biden family links to China and Russia

From Washington Examiner.com (Nov. 18):

A Senate investigation into Hunter Biden and his business dealings in China and other countries released new findings that a pair of leading GOP senators said bolsters allegations of problems involving President-elect Joe Biden’s son.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson unveiled what they called a "supplemental" to the report they published in late September, in the thick of the 2020 election, an effort that was panned by critics as a partisan attempt to damage the elder Biden's image and led to claims that the Republicans were dabbling in Russian disinformation, which the GOP investigators denied as baseless, insisting their effort was grounded in documented facts and had uncovered troubling connections.

“These new records confirm the connections between the Biden family and the communist Chinese government, as well as the links between Hunter Biden’s business associates and the Russian government, and further support the Committees’ September 23, 2020 report’s finding that such relationships created counterintelligence and extortion concerns,” the senators wrote in the five-page report, which was followed by 65 pages of evidence.

Elsewhere, they wrote that after their September report was issued, "new sources went public with additional information about business relationships and financial arrangements among and between the Biden family and their business associates, including several foreign nationals ... The new information is consistent with other records within the Committees’ possession which show millions of dollars being transferred from a Chinese entity linked to the communist party to Robinson Walker LLC.” [read more]

Usama bin Laden wanted to kill Obama so 'totally unprepared' Biden would be president, declassified docs show

From Fox News.com (Apr. 22):

Usama bin Laden wanted to assassinate then-President Barack Obama so that the "totally unprepared" Joe Biden would take over as president and plunge the United States "into a crisis," according to documents seized from bin Laden's Pakistan compound when he was killed in May 2011.

The secretive documents, first reported in 2012 by The Washington Post, outlined a plan to take out Obama and top U.S. military commander David Petraeus as they traveled by plane.

“The reason for concentrating on them is that Obama is the head of infidelity and killing him automatically will make [Vice President] Biden take over the presidency," bin Laden wrote to a top deputy. "Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the U.S. into a crisis. As for Petraeus, he is the man of the hour ... and killing him would alter the war's path" in Afghanistan.

Bin Laden specifically wanted fellow terrorist Ilyas Kashmiri to shoot down Obama.

“Please ask brother Ilyas to send me the steps he has taken into that work,” bin Laden wrote to the top lieutenant, Atiyah Abd al-Rahman. Kashmiri wouldn't get too far along in the plot, however; he was killed in 2011 in a U.S. drone strike shortly after bin Laden himself was shot to death by Navy SEALs. [read more]

Winston Churchill on Socialism

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent. They would have to fall back on some form of Gestapo, no doubt very humanely directed in the first instance. And this would nip opinion in the bud; it would stop criticism as it reared its head, and it would gather all the power to the supreme party and the party leaders, rising like stately pinnacles above their vast bureaucracies of Civil Servants, no longer servants and no longer civil. And where would the ordinary simple folk—the common people, as they like to call them in America—where would they be, once this mighty organism had got them in its grip?

Declassified CIA memo one of several red flags Russia collusion was a Clinton dirty trick

From Just the News.com (Oct. 7):

The latest declassification from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe is already being distorted by election politics. Republicans are trumpeting it as a smoking gun, while Democrats are dismissing it as Russian disinformation.

In fact, it is neither, according to a half dozen current and former U.S. intelligence officials who know the real story.

The CIA decision to alert the FBI in September 2016 that there was intelligence showing the Russians believed Hillary Clinton was "stirring up" a false collusion narrative to "vilify" Donald Trump was sent as a red flare, one of several warnings that the bureau had embarked on a fool's errand that could become a source of acute institutional embarrassment.

Between July 2016 and May 2017, the CIA repeatedly warned the FBI that the Russia collusion narrative spun by Christopher Steele's dossier was a combination of political dirty trick by Team Clinton and targeted Russian disinformation.

In rapid succession, the CIA alerted the Crossfire Hurricane team that Russia knew by July 2016 that Clinton had a research operation led by Steele, and by fall 2016 had fed Steele disinformation and that Steele's dossier contained demonstrably false information, according to declassified footnotes from a Justice Department inspector general's investigation.

Likewise, America's premier spy agency also warned America's premier law enforcement agency it was focused on the wrong guy in Trump adviser Carter Page. CIA told FBI that Page was a U.S. intelligence asset, not a Russian stooge. [read more]

What Kind of America Will You Choose?

From The Daily Signal.com (Sept. 30):

It’s perhaps never been more important to ask: What kind of country do I want to live in, work in, and raise my family in? What kind of America do I believe in?

Ask yourself these questions:

Which America do you want to live in? One that upholds your right to freedom of speech and religious beliefs? Or an America that says only certain views are acceptable in the public square, and shames, bullies, and cancels those who disagree?

What kind of America do you want to work in? One like we had before the pandemic hit, when more Americans than ever said they were better off financially than they were just a year ago? Or one that insists we return to more taxes, regulations, and mandates on both individuals and businesses.

What kind of America will you feel safest in? One that honors and respects our law enforcement officers for putting their lives on the line to keep our streets safe? Or an America that calls for defunding the police and permits lawlessness and chaos in our neighborhoods?

Do you want an America where parents are free to choose where their children are educated or one where ZIP codes determine a child’s only option and perhaps their future? Do you want an education system that empowers families and rewards schools that succeed or one that props up the status quo and continues to fund those that fail?

The same could be asked about health care—do you want more choices at better prices or do you prefer the government making more and more decisions about what coverage you can have, what doctor you can see, and what your plan will cost? [read more]

Talk of "Unity" Is Both Hypocritical and Delusional

From Mises.org (Nov. 10):

In Joe Biden’s address after being declared president-elect by news organizations, he promised to be a leader who “seeks not to divide but to unify.” Making that assertion after the campaigns we have seen, not to mention the light-years-apart treatment of the candidates, while Donald Trump is still adamantly disputing the election because of alleged Democrat malfeasance is, at a minimum, ironic. And it would be the height of hypocrisy if only a few of Trump’s claims of cheating are true. But we need to go further and recognize that even the possibility of Joe Biden uniting us is a delusion.

Agreement on the specific ends we want to achieve is unattainable because our desires are mutually inconsistent. Our agreement is very limited on even very broadly defined issues, and once we look further than vague, aspirational language and feel-good generalities, Americans disagree on virtually everything.

All of us want to be fed, clothed, housed, educated, etc. We agree in that sense. But we disagree about virtually every aspect of who, what, when, where, why, and how. We want different types and amounts, in different ways, at different times and places, and for different people. We are vastly different in the tradeoffs we are willing to make among our desires, not to mention who we think should pay our bills. Once we consider any of the myriad actual choices faced, the fact of scarcity necessitates that our specific ends conflict, rather than align.

Consider a mundane example played out daily in our homes—breakfast. Does everyone in your family agree on “the most important meal of the day”? Does everyone even eat breakfast? Does each member have coffee, a cold caffeine drink, or neither? Juice? What kind? Are all agreed on when, where, what, or how much to eat? Do we agree on who should pay for breakfast, cook it, and clean up after it? Do we agree on the “dress code” that should apply, either at breakfast or afterward?

Diverse individuals have diverse preferences. Multiplying this single example by the uncountable decisions that must be reached in society every day makes our fundamental disunity clear. And we are no more unified when we get to public policy. We are not in agreement about people’s rights and government powers that some view as essential but others view as unforgivable. The same is true of many foreign policy choices. We cannot be unified as “one nation under God” when some vehemently reject any reference to God. We cannot be unified about abortion when some view it as murder and others consider it sacred. Policies that take from some to give to others also inherently create disagreement from those whose pockets are involuntarily picked. Reducing what we take from some, entailing giving less to others than they wish, also triggers disagreement. So long as government dictates such choices, political unity is unattainable. [read more]

Now is the time for a 'great reset'

From WE Forum.org (June 3):

COVID-19 lockdowns may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world’s social and economic prospects is only intensifying. There is good reason to worry: a sharp economic downturn has already begun, and we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s. But, while this outcome is likely, it is not unavoidable.

To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a “Great Reset” of capitalism.

………………

The Great Reset agenda would have three main components. The first would steer the market toward fairer outcomes. To this end, governments should improve coordination (for example, in tax, regulatory, and fiscal policy), upgrade trade arrangements, and create the conditions for a “stakeholder economy.” At a time of diminishing tax bases and soaring public debt, governments have a powerful incentive to pursue such action.

Moreover, governments should implement long-overdue reforms that promote more equitable outcomes. Depending on the country, these may include changes to wealth taxes, the withdrawal of fossil-fuel subsidies, and new rules governing intellectual property, trade, and competition.

The second component of a Great Reset agenda would ensure that investments advance shared goals, such as equality and sustainability. Here, the large-scale spending programs that many governments are implementing represent a major opportunity for progress. The European Commission, for one, has unveiled plans for a €750 billion ($826 billion) recovery fund. The US, China, and Japan also have ambitious economic-stimulus plans.

Rather than using these funds, as well as investments from private entities and pension funds, to fill cracks in the old system, we should use them to create a new one that is more resilient, equitable, and sustainable in the long run. This means, for example, building “green” urban infrastructure and creating incentives for industries to improve their track record on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.

The third and final priority of a Great Reset agenda is to harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to support the public good, especially by addressing health and social challenges. During the COVID-19 crisis, companies, universities, and others have joined forces to develop diagnostics, therapeutics, and possible vaccines; establish testing centers; create mechanisms for tracing infections; and deliver telemedicine. Imagine what could be possible if similar concerted efforts were made in every sector. [read more]

Excerpts from the book Red Famine–Blacklists

In November and December 1932, as the significance of the new "unconditional" requisition orders was sinking in, the Ukrainian Communist Party enlarged and formalized the republic's system of blacklists. The term "blacklist" (chorna doshka, which translates more literally as "black board") was not new. From their very earliest days in power, the Bolsheviks had grappled with the problem of low productivity. Since neither bosses nor workers in state companies had any market incentives to work hard or well, the State created elaborate schemes of reward and punishment. Among other things, many factories began to place the names of their most successful workers on "red boards," and those of the least successful workers on "black boards." In March 1920, Stalin himself gave a speech in Donbas and referred specifically to the need to "favour one group over another" and to reward "red medals" to the work brigade leaders, "as in a military operation." At the same time, those comrades who were avoiding work must be "pulled by the hair": "For them we need black boards." During the civil war, in 1919—21, the Bolsheviks had placed whole villages on blacklists if they failed to fulfil grain requisition requirements.

In 1932 the blacklist returned as a tool for the reinforcement of grain procurement policy. Although they were used to some degree in all the other grain-producing regions of the USSR, blacklists were applied earlier, more widely and more rigorously in Ukraine. From the beginning of that year, provincial and local authorities bad begun to blacklist collective farms, cooperatives and even whole villages that had failed to meet their grain quotas, and to subject them to a range of punishments and sanctions. In late summer local leaders expanded the blacklists. In November the practice became ubiquitous, spreading to include villages and collective farms in almost every district of Ukraine.

All across the republic, the names of blacklisted villages appeared in newspapers, along with the percentage of the grain quota they had achieved. One such article, for example, simply entitled "The Black List," appeared in the Poltava province in September 1932, with a black border around it. The list contained seven villages, each of which had produced between 10.7 per cent and 14.2 per cent of the yearly plan.

7 Big Items on Biden’s White House Agenda

From The Daily Signal.com (Nov. 8):

Amnesty for illegal immigrants, taxpayer funding for abortions, and a transition from using oil for energy were key to former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign for the White House.

Biden laid out many policy proposals during his campaign to unseat President Donald Trump, which major media outlets called in the Democratic challenger’s favor Saturday even as ballot counting and litigation continued.

Trump has not conceded the fiercely fought contest, and his campaign team said it intends to pursue legal challenges Monday across several closely contested states.

…………

1. Taxpayer-Funded Abortion

Early in his campaign, during the summer of 2019, Biden vowed to do away with the Hyde Amendment, a law that prevents Medicaid funds from being used to pay for most abortions. It’s a law Biden previously supported.

The law is named for the late Rep. Henry Hyde, R-Ill.

Past presidents and members of Congress, regardless of their stance on abortion, have supported the Hyde Amendment.

Only in 2016 did the Democratic National Convention platform call for an end to the Hyde Amendment.

2. Amnesty, No More Wall Funding

Biden has a broad immigration agenda that is quite different from Trump’s.

Potentially the biggest reversal from the Trump administration is ending the national emergency that Trump declared in early 2019 to use Defense Department dollars to pay for construction of a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Biden also said he wants to secure the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy, which protects illegal immigrants who first entered the United States as minors from being deported.

…………….

3. COVID-19 Board

During the campaign, Biden said he wants to set up a Pandemic Testing Board modeled after the War Production Board that President Franklin Roosevelt established during World War II.

The campaign plan says the board would run a national effort to provide diagnostic and antibody tests for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus; coordinate distribution to every state; identify testing sites and provide sufficient training personnel; ensure adequate lab capacity and swift reporting of results; and provide clear guidance on who needs a test.

In his speech Saturday night, Biden said he would name “a group of leading scientists and experts” on Monday as transition advisers to help turn the campaign’s COVID-19 plan into “an action blueprint” to implement Jan. 20, which is Inauguration Day. [read more]

Biden coronavirus adviser wants US to distribute vaccine globally before it's available to all Americans

    From Fox News.com (Nov. 10):

Oncologist Dr. Zeke Emanuel, one of 10 advisory board members named to Democratic President-elect Joe Biden's coronavirus task force, has pushed the U.S. and other countries to not hoard a coronavirus vaccine.

Emanuel, who served as a key architect of the Affordable Care Act under the Obama administration, co-authored a paper in September in which he encouraged officials to follow the "Fair Priority Model," which calls for a "fair international distribution of vaccine," rather than what he and his co-authors characterized as "vaccine nationalism."

The model allows the country that produces the vaccine to hold onto enough of a supply to reach a threshold for herd immunity ("Rt below 1"). Beyond that, the model supports distributing the vaccine internationally, which means giving away or selling doses of the vaccine before it's available to every citizen in that country, Emanuel explained to Scientific American. With a Biden Win, The War Party Will Be Back in Full Force

    From Mises.org (Nov. 17):

If Democratic candidate Joe Biden is elected America’s forty-sixth president, what happens to the mandate to end the endless wars? It doesn’t go away, but rather falls on the Democrat-controlled House and (presumably, for now) Republican-controlled Senate.

President Donald Trump was elected partly due to his promise to rein in the US government’s military intervention abroad. He managed to not start any new wars, but he hasn’t ended any either. That may be changing in Afghanistan now. Only time will tell, but it’ll have to be be sooner rather than later.

However dissatisfying Trump’s contributions to peace and a nonintervention foreign policy have been, his policies have also enraged the War Party, which went all in for Biden.

The late antiwar writer Justin Raimondo once described the War Party this way: “that complex of social, political, and economic forces that constitute a permanent and powerful lobby on behalf of imperialism and militarism.”

With a long list of war hawks as his backers and Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate, there is no hope that Biden will embrace Trump’s foreign policy agenda, let alone be a more antiwar version of President Barack Obama.

    Neoconservatives Back Biden

In June 2020, nearly three hundred former Bush officials announced they were backing Biden as president by launching a PAC.

Hoping to mobilize disaffected hawkish Republicans who felt marginalized due to Trump’s win, the group added dozens of former senator Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign staffers as well as more than a hundred former staff members of deceased senator John McCain’s congressional offices.

The alliance was so effective in bringing neoconservatives together with the sole purpose of beating Trump’s foreign policy that more than seventy former US national security officials joined the effort. [read more]

Biden COVID Adviser Calls for Strict National Lockdown Measures

    From Western Journal.com (Nov. 12):

One adviser to presumptive President-elect Joe Biden says a national COVID-19 lockdown is just what America needs.

Dr. Michael Osterholm, the director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, was among those named Monday to  Biden’s COVID-19 Transition Advisory Board.

Osterholm said that shutting down businesses across the nation for a period of four to six weeks — while having the government underwrite all lost wages — would check the spread of the disease while not taking the economy off the rails, according to CNBC.

“We could pay for a package right now to cover all of the wages, lost wages for individual workers, for losses to small companies, to medium-sized companies or city, state, county governments. We could do all of that,” he said. “If we did that, then we could lock down for four to six weeks.”

Local party leaders, their careers on the line, organized groups of activists and sent them, village by village, to begin confiscating whatever grain they could find. A peasant in the village of Sobolivka, in the western part of Ukraine, wrote to his Polish relatives describing how this worked:

The authorities do as follows: they send the so-called brigades which come to a man or a farmer and conduct a search so thorough they even look through the ground with sharp metal tools, through the walls with matches, in the garden, in the straw roof, and if they find even half a pood, they take it away on the horse wagon. This passes for life here... Dear brother Ignacy, if it is possible, I ask you to send me a package, as it is very needed. There is nothing to eat and one must eat.

All these methods recalled the events of the past: in the days of "War Communism" the Red Army had searched peasants' property with similar violence, and with similar disregard for their lives. But they also foreshadowed the immediate future: these were the first of what would bc thousands of many intense, destructive searches, conducted by activists all across Ukraine a year later, in the winter of 1932—3. The use of violence, the smashing of walls and furniture in search of hidden grain—these were a harbinger of what was to come.

Here’s What Donald Trump Should Do before Inauguration Day

    From Mises.org (Nov. 9):

States won’t have to formally certify their electoral college votes until December. But, assuming Joe Biden’s supporters do manage to push through the necessary 270 electoral votes, Donald Trump still has until January 20 to change military policy, pardon allies, unseat the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and throw a wrench in the deep state apparatus that has so long antagonized him.

But time is running out. What Trump does now could nonetheless strike a blow for the cause of restrained foreign policy, while reining in the intelligence state and placing barriers in front of Washington technocrats seeking to reassert their power in Washington.

But what exactly should Trump be doing?

Fortunately, Lew Rockwell has recently compiled a list of the essentials, noting that Trump should of course continue his legal challenges to the ballot counters in various states. But there are also concrete policy changes he can make right now, and speaking to Trump, Rockwell concludes: “In the time until [January 20], you should act decisively against the deep state and the enemies of the American people.”

Step 1: Fire the Worst and Most Antagonistic Bureaucrats.

Speaking directly to Trump, Rockwell begins by noting, "You should fire Anthony Fauci and Christopher Wray."

Fauci, of course, has long been one of the most enthusiastic advocates of economically crippling countless American families, throwing breadwinners out of work, and keeping them locked in their homes until “we get to the part of the curve where it goes down to essentially no new cases, no deaths for a period of time.

FBI director Christopher Wray would be the next to go. Rockwell writes:

Christopher Wray has acted to undermine your administration. He pedals the fake charge that the Russians made you president in 2016, and he withheld from you the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell,” even though he had this since December. But you shouldn’t stop with him. As you well know, there is a cabal of FBI, CIA, and NSA agents who have acted to undermine you even before you took office. You should get rid of them. In fact, why do we need an FBI or a CIA at all? They are agencies of world disruption, and you would do the world a great deal of good by abolishing them.

    Step 2: Pardon Generously.

One of the best and most libertarian powers a president has is the ability to grant pardons. This is an essential check on the power of the federal bureaucracy and the federal courts. Trump should employ this power broadly:

The Left will stop at nothing to harm you and your friends if Biden gets in. You should immediately pardon yourself, your family, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and all the others who have stood up against the Left. I strongly suspect that “Judge” Sullivan, a pliant tool of the Left, is planning to sentence Flynn to a long prison term as soon as you are forced out of office. He needs to be pardoned to preclude that from happening.

Wow! But I like it. If President Trump does step 2 the Left will go nuts. I don’t care—they are already nuts. Plus, other presidents (like Clinton) have pardoned worse characters. Trump has to protect himself and his family.

    The other three steps:

    1. Fire the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
    2. Bring the Troops Home.
    3. The President Must Reject Calls for “Unity”

Hacker Breaks Into Clinton Foundation Server, Discovers Millions in FRAUD & BRIBES

    From Independent Minute.com (Oct. 13):

Infamous hacker, named Guccifer 2.0 hacked his way into the Clinton Foundation databases and uncovered some of the most damning evidence to date of the Clinton corruption.

Here’s his message below and he got impatient and did some digging himself.

“Many of you have been waiting for this, some even asked me to do it. So, this is the moment. I hacked the Clinton Foundation server and downloaded hundreds of thousands of docs and donors’ databases.”

When Barack Obama demanded that congress approves more bailouts in 2009-11, it seems the big banks through the Clinton Foundation offered kickbacks to Democratic politicians, including crooked Hillary, to make sure the bailout was approved.

Somehow crooked Hillary also aided the big banks to bribe Democrat politicians. Guccifer wrote, “DEMOCRATS FUNNELED TARP FUNDS BACK TO THEIR PACS! That’s taxpayer bailout money that went right to the pockets of Democrat PACs!”

Yup. That’s right. Our money went right to the Democrats and their shady, back handed, back alley deals with the big banks. How are these people still running this country?

“Hillary Clinton and her staff don’t even bother about the information security. It was just a matter of time to gain access to the Clinton Foundation server. It looks like big banks and corporations agreed to donate to the Democrats a certain percentage of the allocated TARP funds.” [read more]

Biden’ List of Potential Attorney Generals, W/ Histories Of Persecuting Political Adversaries Cuomo, Yates, Abrams, Bharara, Weissman Rumors State [ICYMI]

From Commentary from Mark Sidney on Illicit Info.com (Oct. 13):

Our worst fears are starting to come to fruition if this alleged short list is true.  The thing that most scares me about a potential Democrat controlled government is the likely political persecution of conservatives.  If you think what the DOJ and FBI did to Donald Trump, General Flynn and Roger Stone was something, wait until what the Democrats do when they ARE in power.

    …………..

This is the kind of talk that leads a society down the path to the kind of horrors we saw in the mid 20th century in Europe.  I know you think that sounds like hyperbole but when you look at the 8 stages of genocide, I think it is fair to say that we are well past step 3 and into step 4.

8 Stages of Genocide: 1. Classification 2. Symbolization 3. Dehumanization (we are here) 4. Organization 5. Polarization 6. Preparation 7. Extermination 8. Denial

Step 4, or ‘organization,’ in my view, would be if the Democrats get all three branches of government via a White House win, a Senate win and then a packing of the Supreme Court.  Winning the House would be the icing on the cake.

With a packed Supreme Court that knows it is a rubber stamp, the legislature becomes irrelevant as Biden (or his compos mentis surrogates) could rule via Executive Order, knowing any challenge would be shot down by the political actors on the Supreme Court. [read more]

The Capital Note: Surge in Entrepreneurship amid Pandemic

    From National Review.com (Sept. 30):

    Spike in New Business Formation

The wreckage of the Covid pandemic is not enough to stop Americans from opening up new businesses. The Department of Commerce reported a massive spike in new-business applications in the third quarter. While partially a reflection of the backlog in applications that built up during the lockdowns earlier this year, the spike is a surprising sign of the ability of the U.S. economy to weather the storm of the pandemic.

It also shows how unusual this year’s recession is. After the 2008 financial crisis, new-firm formation fell by roughly 25 percent, bringing real per capita GDP growth down by 2.5 percent. Despite a massive decline in real GDP this year, new businesses have increased in quantity and quality, according to Goldman Sachs Research:

[N]ew business applications have surged in Q3, with “high-propensity to succeed” business applications—those with similar characteristics to those that have historically led to firm creation—reaching their highest quarterly level on record, following a sharp virus-driven decline in March and April.

In large part, the surge in business formation reflects the forceful policy response to the pandemic. Near-zero interest rates, as well as an increase in personal income thanks to the CARES Act, have made it relatively easy for entrepreneurs to open new firms. It’s also a response to the changes ushered in by the pandemic, such as remote work and the increasing digitization of services.

Along with good news on payrolls and vaccines, the business formation numbers suggest a relatively swift labor-market recovery: Goldman Sachs researchers expect the unemployment rate to drop to 7 percent by the end of this year and to 5.6 percent by the end of 2021. [read more]

Excerpts from the book Red Famine–The Peasants

Threatened by violence and afraid of hunger, hundreds of thousands of peasants finally relinquished their land, animals and machines to the collective farms. But just because they had been forced to move, they did not become enthusiastic collective farmers overnight. The fruits of their labour no longer belonged to them; the grain they sowed and harvested was now requisitioned by the authorities.

Collectivization also meant that peasants had lost their ability to make decisions about their lives. Like the serfs of old, they were forced to accept a special legal status, including controls on their movement: all collective farmers, kolkhozniks, would eventually need to seek permission to work outside the village. Instead of deciding when to reap, sow and sell, kolkhozniks had to follow decisions made by the local representatives of Soviet power. They did not earn regular salaries but were paid trudodni or day wages, which often meant payment in kind—grain, potatoes or other products—rather than cash. They lost their ability to govern themselves too, as collective farm bosses and their entourages supplanted the traditional village councils.

As a result, men and women who had so recently been self-reliant farmers now worked as little as possible. Farm machines were not maintained and frequently broke down. In August 1930 some tractors out of 16,790 in Ukraine were in need of repair. The problem was cynically blamed on "class struggle" and "wreckers" who were allegedly sabotaging the farm machinery.

Even when peasants did sow and till the fields, they often did their work without the care and enthusiasm they had shown in the past. Collective farms produced dramatically less than they could or should have done. Everyone tried to or take from the collective as much as possible: after all, the state's grain belonged to "no one." Men and women who would never have considered stealing in the past now had no compunction about taking from state organizations that no-one owned or respected. This form of "everyday resistance" was not unique to the peasantry.

CAUGHT WITH THEIR PANTS DOWN! Apparently The PENTAGON Has Been ILLEGALLY SURVEILLING Americans After The George Floyd Incident

From The Patriot Nation.net (Aug. 30):

Once the mainstream media began reporting on the George Floyd incident, it definitely was the spark for all kinds of massive riots and looting all across this great country. People needed to take action, but apparently, the Pentagon thought they needed to do so as well. They began launching “covert spying” aircraft into our airspace. Their purpose? To spy on Americans. However, per this report this is something that they cannot do. In a word, this type of practice is indeed illegal.

Of course, the Pentagon was quick to defend their actions. While they did admit that the operation was illegal, they said that it was a necessary evil simply because they wanted to keep track of the things that were going on in our American streets. They said this was similar to what the National Guard did when they launched reconnaissance drones and aircraft over four major U.S. cities simply because they needed to collect data on all of the “protests.” The National Guard has since been exonerated of their activities.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper is now claiming that he had never personally signed off on any of the spying activities of the National Guard. However, there is a litany of Guard officials who insist that their activities simply did not require any approval from the “top brass.” They said that the reason these activities didn’t require any higher-up approval is because the military wing of the Guard was simply trying to “observe the crowds” and assess all of the developments. In a nutshell, the Guard was more concerned with whether “things like large fires” were beginning to develop.

An Air Force inspector weighed in, saying that yes, the general investigation had indeed been ordered by Esper, but the surveillance aircraft was not used to “monitor anyone”, but simply just to “gain some information regarding fires, crowd size, and crowd flows.”

“This probe was indeed ordered by Defense Secretary Mark Esper. However, it was simply due to a response regarding some questions in the department and Congress in regards to whether the military was engaging in illegal action and conducting surveillance of American citizens regarding the unrest after the shooting of George Floyd.” [read more]

Congressional China Task Force Releases Findings From Report On Threat From Communist China

    From Daily Wire.com (Sept. 30):

The congressional China Task Force released a 141-page report on Wednesday outlining 82 key findings about the threat that the Chinese Communist Party poses to the United States and making 430 policy recommendations on how the U.S. needs to respond.

The task force was led by Republicans — despite being in the minority in the House of Representatives — because Democrats refused to participate. Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, who declared during last night’s debate that he is “the Democratic Party,” has repeatedly downplayed the threat that China poses to the U.S. and recently refused to call China an “opponent” during a CNN town hall.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy forged ahead with the task force, despite receiving no help from Democrats, putting 15 Republicans on the Committee who represent 11 other committees of the House of Representatives.

The Committee focused on investigating six CCP-related challenges that the U.S. faces, including Ideological Competition, Supply Chains, National Security, Technology, Economics and Energy, and Competitiveness. [read more]

Wife of Boston Marathon Bombing Hero Says Biden Touched Her in an "Inappropriate and Uncomfortable Way"

    From Red State.com (Sept. 30):

According to a report from Joseph Simonson in the Washington Examiner, then-Vice President Joe Biden inappropriately touched the wife of a police officer injured while apprehending the Boston Marathon bombing suspects and made a suggestive comment to her during a remembrance ceremony in April 2013. Kim Donohue, whose husband was shot in the leg during the manhunt, said in a Facebook post that Biden even “pushed” her husband aside. [read more]

Johnson & Johnson launches massive human trial of COVID-19 vaccine

From The Washington Times.com (Sept. 23):

Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson started a massive human trial of its coronavirus vaccine Wednesday, lining up another option as federal officials told Congress they will resist political pressure ahead of an unprecedented push to inoculate the country.

The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of J&J said it plans to enroll up to 60,000 adults at nearly 215 clinical research sites in the U.S. and abroad. The company said its vaccine candidate offers twin advantages over some of its competitors — it can be delivered in a single dose and doesn’t require unusually cold storage temperatures.

The Trump administration, through “Operation Warp Speed,” is supporting private drugmakers as it tries to lock down a successful vaccine before the end of the year. [read more]

Excerpts from the book Red Famine–Family Relations

Family relationships changed too. Fathers, deprived of property, could no longer bequeath land to their sons and lost authority. Before collectivization it was very unusual for parents to abandon children, but afterwards mothers and fathers often went to seek work in the city, returning sporadically or not at all. As elsewhere in the USSR, children were instructed to denounce their parents, and were questioned at school about what was going on at home. Traditions of village self-rule came to an abrupt end too. Before collectivization, local men chose their own leaders; after collectivization, farcical "elections" were still held, with candidates making speeches exhorting their neighbours to join the great Soviet project. But everyone knew that the outcome was determined in advance, guaranteed by the omnipresent police.

Finally, and perhaps most ominously, collectivization left the peasants economically dependent on the state. Once the collective farms were established, nobody who lived on them had any means of earning a salary. The farm bosses distributed food products and other goods according to the quality and quantity of work. Theoretically, the system was supposed to provide an incentive to work. In practice, it  also meant that peasants had no cash, no way to purchase food, and no mobility. Anyone who left without permission or refused to work could be deprived of his or her ration. When their family cows and garden plots were taken away, as they would during the autumn and winter of 1932-3, the peasants had nothing left at all.

Joe Biden Wants Christians on Terror List for Opposing LGBTQ Agenda

    From The Washington Sentinel.com (Oct. 12, 2019):

Former Vice President Joe Biden just announced that he wants Christians to be put on a terror watch list if they commit the crime of opposing the LGBTQ agenda.

At CNN’s LGBT town hall on Thursday, Biden advocated for a registry of all religious organizations that won’t toe the line of the radical gay agenda. Looks like Biden wants to pin a yellow star on Christians who oppose the gay mafia.

Worse, Biden’s proclamation at the townhall was his way of signing onto an idea pushed by the left-wing, hate-group called the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

Biden pushed three things to help end “hate crimes” against gays: passing the Equality Act, monitoring groups that are similar to terrorist groups, and rewrite federal civil rights laws to prevent discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. [read more]

Vote rigging: How to spot the tell-tale signs

    From BBC.com (Sept. 2016):

    Too many voters

Watch the turnout figures ‒ they can be a big giveaway.

You never get a 98% or 99% turnout in an honest election. You just don't.

    …………..

A high turnout in specific areas

Even where the turnout is within the bounds of possibility, if the figure is wildly different from the turnout elsewhere, it serves as a warning.

Why would one particular area, or one individual polling station, have a 90% turnout, while most other areas register less than 70%?

Something strange is almost certainly going on, especially if the high turnout is an area which favours one particular candidate or party over another.

    ………………

    Large numbers of invalid votes

There are other, more subtle ways that riggers can increase votes ‒ or reduce them.

Keep an eye on the number of votes excluded as invalid. Even in countries with low literacy rates this isn't normally above 5%.

High numbers of invalid votes can mean that officials are disqualifying ballots for the slightest imperfection, even when the voter's intention is perfectly clear, in an attempt to depress votes for their opponents.

More votes than ballot papers issued

When the polls close, and before they open the boxes, election officials normally have to go through a complicated and rather tedious process known as the reconciliation of ballots.

After they have counted how many ballot papers they received in the morning, they then need to count how many are left, and how many ‒ if any ‒ were torn or otherwise spoiled and had to be put aside.

The result will tell them how many papers should be in the box. It should also match the number of names checked off on the register.

    ……………….

    Delay in announcing results

Finally something that is not necessarily a sign of rigging, but it is often assumed to be so.

Election commissions, particularly in Africa, can appear to take an inordinately long time to publish official results.

This is not helped by local observer networks and political parties who, tallying up the results sent in by their agents on mobile phones, have a good idea of the result long before the more cumbersome official process is completed.

But the official process takes time, especially in countries with poor communications, and the introduction of modern electronic transmission systems has not necessarily helped. [read more]

Interesting…. To the Left vote rigging is no problem at all. In war you can deceive, trick and confuse your enemy. This is called the "fog of war." I believe they have planned this ever since Trump got elected president. Covid-19 or no Covid-19. The Coronavirus just gave the Left an opportunity.
