Comparing the Antichrist and the 12th Imam

Within the Shiite, (which is predominate in Iran ), it is prophesied that there is a coming 12th Imam [an anointed leader or ruler] who is the great spiritual savior. This Imam is named Abu al-Qasim Muhammad or also called Muhammad al Mahdi. He is said to have been born the son of the 11th Imam, Hasan Al-Askari and his wife, the granddaughter of an Emperor. There are conflicting statements of her name being either Fatima or Nargis Khatoon.

Most accounts of the story say that al Mahdi went into hiding as a child around the age of 5 years (about 13th Century). It said he has been ‘in hiding’ in caves ever since but will supernaturally return just before the Day of Judgment.

The antichrist is described as a deceiver who will claim to bring peace, but will actually bring widespread war.	The anticipation of the 12th Imam is that he will bring peace through massive war with the rest of the world.
Beheading is Antichrist's preferred method of execution according to Revelation.	The antichrist has any non-believer beheaded. This practice is done today in Muslim countries.
The world will marvel after Antichrist.	The world will love the 12th Imam.
Antichrist will be helped by the Beast.	The 12th Imam will be helped by Jesus.
Antichrist and Beast will have great power on earth.	The Mahdi will be rich and will give wealth to the people of the world freely. He will cause crops to grow.

 

Spooky huh. Why is this comparison important? Because the leader of Iran wants the 12th Imam to return soon and that means chaos in the world. It does not matter if anyone else believes what Ahmadinejad believes. It only matters what he believes. Because actions follow beliefs. Just like Hitler’s actions followed his belief system.

To make my point clear, here is what Ahmadinejad says at the end of almost speech he gives:

"hasten the emergence of your last repository, the Promised One [the Mahdi or 12th Imam], that perfect and pure human being, the one that will fill this world with justice and peace"

This is what I am talking about. Should make you nervous.
